Tutorial on how to re-skin(trucks, trailers, etc.) 1. What you need: - DXTBmp Click here for download.2. An image editing program. MS Paint will do good.
Getting started: 1. After installing, open DXTBmp. 2. You see something like this: 3. Then to select you'r editor Click "Prefs" Now either you choose MS Paint or select your own editor:
Now once you did that it's time to get to work. In this tutorial I used the PttM default truck i9200 paint0.dds 1. To open the .dds texture, just click "File" and then "Open" from the dropdown menu. Now find your trucks paint files(usually found from the "share" folder). Once you found it, double click on the texture file to open it. 2. Now you see something as this: Now double click on the image to send it to the editor. 3. Supposing you know your image editor, I am not explaining it... When you have done editing, hit Ctrl+S to save. 4. I'll let the image do the talking 5. Your done.
If you have any questions or problems you cant solve, put it in this topic
